Projects
Wooden house in Navajeda
The house is shown as an abstract piece in the landscape, in the form of a simple and compact volume that does not hide its contemporary language: whereas the natural materials on the façade – cork panels in the house, wood in the garage – ensure a smooth dialogue with the trees and meadows, the corrugated sheet metal roof reflects the atmospheric changes of the Cantabrian sky.
Viviendas sociales en Ortuella
The project aims to become an urban link between Etxezuri Street and the river park of the Granada River. The building is fragmented into two volumes, creating a large square and allowing double orientation to all homes, optimizing sunlight, ventilation and views of the Trapaga Valley.
Quinta Cuba housing complex
The plot is characterized by the presence of an old house renovated in the 30’s under the influence of the Modern Movement, supposedly by the architect Deogracias Mariano Lastra, which makes it one of the few residential buildings of this type preserved in Cantabria. The project consists of six dwellings and respects the existing building, which is refurbished with two new dwellings.
Apartment in Bilbao
The project renovates a 1970’s apartment, updating the domestic space to current standards. A set of specific interventions are proposed to unveil the intrinsic potential of the house: to provide spatial amplitude, optimize natural sunlight, ensure natural ventilation and provide exterior views.
Social housing in el Alisal
The project proposes a housing topology where all the dwellings have two façades. This solution optimizes the bioclimatic conditions of the building thanks to cross ventilation and the differentiated treatment of the facades, apart from ensuring a high quality of interior space.
